Wanda has a new husband named George, two children, Robert and Christina, and three grandsons, Micheal, Matthew, and Alex.

Wanda is a member of Kappa Kappa Iota, an educational organization. She is National Recording Secretary for this organization and state Treasurer. She is sponsor of the LSUS Campus Kappas which is a student affiliate of Kappa Kappa Iota. She has several hobbies including sewing, making stained glass, woodworking and painting. But her favorite hobby and obsession is dancing.
