Keith teaches math classes for LSUS, BPCC, and other colleges in the Shreveport-Bossier region. Prior to that, he graduated from LSUS with a degree in Mathematics in 1993 and left for graduate school. He was an instructor in the LSUS Department of Mathematics for several years.

Keith has had other work appear in print, for example, the solution to a problem posed in the Mathematics Magazine. This was done in 1990 while he was an undergarduate at LSUS. Keith has a Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky.
